Biography or Historical NoteThe Department was officially formed in 2010 after merging the Department of Management and Budget with the Department of Information Technology. The DTMB is headed by a Director that is appointed by the Governor. Within the DTMB is the State Administrative Board, Office of Children's Ombudsman, the Office of the State Employer, The State Budget Office, and the Office of Retirement Services. DTMB’s responsibilities include information and technology support to the other state departments and state finances.
